Cold Town House, Senior Deputy General Manager
£40,000 Basic. Circa £50,000 OTE
We’re looking for a New House Mate!
Cold Town House are hiring a Senior Deputy General Manager to help oversee our three story pad. Our House is a one-of-a-kind venue holds a Cold Town Brewpub (Complete with in-house brewery), our Prosecco & Pizza Bar and our unrivalled roof terrace (with Castle Views!).
We’re a flat out venue, so it’s not for the feint hearted. Our offer attracts tourists, locals & corporate groups. We’ve entertainment 7-days a week, including sport & brewer tours. We have something for everyone!
This role positions you as the second-in-command within the business, with a trajectory to one day take the top spot. It is primarily centred around service excellence, requiring close collaboration with the General Manager to maximise the venue.
What will you be doing?
- Management and leadership of the venue teams, working closely with the General Manager
- Maintain profitability through revenue generation and effective cost controls
- Take the lead in creativity, driving sales through unique products and effective marketing approaches.
- Recruit and build a team of superstars
- Train & drive the team members to deliver top tier customer service
What we need from you:
- Proficient in Bar & Restaurant Management, offering solid experience
- Demonstrate expertise in operational controls, budgeting, payroll, and forecasting
- Comfortably drive initiatives and meet targets with a grounded, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Manage large teams and high sales volumes with ease and practicality.
- Demonstrate a flair for creativity, outgoing personality, and a proactive approach as a self-starter, develop innovative ideas and give boundless energy
You’ll need to be a strong DGM currently, or a GM looking to take on a large, high volume venue.
