Sales Manager – Rutland Hotel + Cold Town House + McLarens On The Corner
Permanent – 37.5hr Contract
Salary – £30,000 + Bespoke Bonus Scheme (incentivised on new business generation)
Signature Group are hiring for a newly created New Business Executive. This role will support all Signature venues including our key Edinburgh sites; Rutland Hotel inc. Kyloe/Huxley & Heads & Tails, Cold Town House and McLarens On The Corner.
We are fortunate that we can offer customers eclectic, traditional, and bespoke events in our incredible venues. In McLarens customers can unwind in our Loft Space, bring the family together in our Parlour and Tellers Rooms or at Cold Town House, celebrate that big birthday on the Roof Terrace with great views of Edinburgh Castle. Kyloe/Huxley and Head & Tales are no different, with H&T’s speak easy feel and Kyloe’s discreet private dining room there is every opportunity to make memorable events!
Our events customers range from local family events to big corporate hospitality and everything in between! As such we are looking for someone with the personality and flare to bring our events to life and secure new, incremental sales and group business.
We would expect the right person to source new business and build a network across the city & cross sector. You’ll need good local knowledge and be prepared to be the face of these businesses at networking events. This position as a real opportunity; we have the venues, the food and the drinks, now we just need you to pull it together!
What will you be doing?
- Generate new business leads
- Convert these leads into sales in the delivery outstanding profitable events
- Create and manage a pipeline of sales & group bookings, maximising opportunities
- Get to know our target markets and where to find them.
- Build meaningful relationships
- Represent our brands and business at networking and some industry events
- Deliver meaningful communication with internal & external stakeholders
Requirements:
- We are looking for someone with up to 4 years experience in sales or booking events.
Experience in hospitality is a bonus - There will be a requirement for some evening and weekend work
- There will be a lot of organisation and structure required for you to manage this role so if you can bring your personality and energy while being disciplined with processes then this could be a great fit for you.
