Operations Manager
From £35k- £40k per annum plus 20% bonus and benefits
We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our team at The Rutland, a bespoke and luxurious city centre boutique hotel situated comfortably and conveniently between Edinburgh’s main shopping area and the busy financial district.
The Rutland Hotel is steeped in a history all of its own and has become an Edinburgh institution in its own right. Today, it is home to The Huxley, one of the city’s most refreshing bars, Heads & Tales, our gin emporium and Edinburgh’s finest gourmet steak restaurant-Kyloe.
You will be passionate, inspirational with a charismatic personality who puts our guests and team at the heart of everything you do. You will be a strong people manager who understands that that staff development sits at the heart of business success. You will have a passion for great service and the ability to drive and operate the business. You will have strong time management skills and the ability to control service in a multi-faceted building. You will have experience in different styled venues and be able to use this knowledge to innovate and develop the different food and beverage brands; improving the guest experience. You will be business focused and success-orientated, you will enjoy thriving in a creative and stylish environment. You will take ownership of the site and its smooth operation. You will have an understanding of hotel operations with exposure to rate planning and creating exceptional guest journeys.
You will have a previous track record in a senior management position within the hospitality industry with detailed experienced of budgets, recruitment, stock control and ordering.
Must hold a valid Personal License.
