Base Salary of £36,000 + £5,000k Tronc Average + Up to 40% of Salary Bonus
The Spiritualist is recruiting a Head Chef for their stylish new concept serving all fresh food based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. This is an opportunity for an existing Head Chef to take the next step in their career.
We are proud to hold Scotland’s greatest bar gantry and when it comes to liquor we offer an unrivalled experience of excitement and curiosity. As we close out 2024 we are looking to appoint a new Head Chef that will elevate our food offer to the standards of our bar offer.
As the Head Chef you will be running the kitchen while producing menus and dishes aimed to push and elevate our offer. This is a real opportunity to be creative while being supported by the executive chef and central support team to achieve your goals. The ideal candidate will have experience running kitchens in a creative and aspirational environment.
Creativity and presentation are the key here, we want our food to look as amazing as it will taste.
Duties
- Working closely with the General Manager and Front of House Team
- Producing Fresh Cooked Food using seasonal products
- Manage, Coach, Train and develop the brigade and achieve GP targets
- Implement new menu ideas and keep focused on customer trends
- Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleaning schedules
Required Skills
- Two years minimum of Head Chef experience
- Extensive food knowledge
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Good Financial management skills
- Top communication & real people skills
