Full Time, Permanent, 45 Hours PW
Base Salary of £33,000 + Tronc (Crica £5,000) + Bonus Scheme

The Spiritualist, one of Glasgow’s most stylish cocktail bars and restaurants, is seeking a dynamic Deputy General Manager to join our team. Located in the heart of the Merchant City, The Spiritualist is known for its elegant atmosphere, expertly crafted cocktails, and high-quality dining experience.
The Role
As Deputy General Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the venue, supporting the General Manager in leading the team and delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for overseeing service, managing staff, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring that The Spiritualist remains a top destination in Glasgow’s hospitality scene.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall management of the venue, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards, ensuring all guests receive a premium experience.
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
Support financial performance, including budgeting, sales targets, and cost control. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
- Hold the venue in absence of the General Manager
What We’re Looking For
- Previous management experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or hospitality venue.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for cocktails, premium drinks, and high-quality dining.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
