Business Development Executive – Field Based

COLD TOWN BEER – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE– FIELD BASED 

Cold Town Beer are growing, and we are looking for a motivated salesperson to push our targets through 2025.  

Started in Edinburgh in 2018, we have been steadily making great beers and winning fans since – and with a forward thinking rebrand earlier this year we are now looking for someone to join us to push sales across the independent On and Off Trade in Scotland and beyond. 

What will you be doing? 

• Using your creativity to increase sales and grow the business 

• Managing existing accounts and bringing in new ones with an elevated level of service 

• Creating advocates in the industry with training and activation 

• Promoting our beers at festivals and industry events 

What do we need from you? 

• Experience in sales, preferably in an FMCG environment 

• A good knowledge of the Scottish Hospitality Industry 

• Confidence and ability to hit targets and manage your own time 

• As a field-based role, a full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential. 

A knowledge and passion for craft beer will be a welcome addition but full training and mentorship will be included in the role – this is an ideal position for someone with a hospitality background wanting to make the move into sales. Knowledge of the Independent Retail Sector would be desirable. 

This is a field-based role – you will be spending a lot of time on the road seeing your customers. We will provide an excellent CRM system to assist you along with fortnightly meetings in person with the full sales team in Edinburgh, reporting directly to the Head of On Trade. 

What is in it for you? 

Base Salary of £28,000-£32,000 with Target Driven Bonus and Car Allowance.
