Do you remember when you first heard the word coronavirus? It seems surreal to think how that word has torn the world apart.

Kids unsure of their future beyond school, farmers watching produce rotting in their fields and our much-loved hospitality industry has been painfully brought to a halt. Albeit a temporary one.

Our NHS workers are the true front line, they are the heroes and we need to do our part in flattening the curve by closing our doors in line with Government advice.

We tried to stay open initially but it’s no longer morally, medically or socially appropriate to do so anymore.

So we lock up and thank our amazing staff as we all endeavour to do our bit to stop this virus.

And it’s not goodbye, to use the words of any immortal song, we’ll meet again.
